This is how not to behave out there!!
- Always wear a leash
- Dress accordingly
- Carry a means of calling for help (a phone or a vhf radio in a waterproof case)
- Tell someone where you are going and when you expect to be back
- Check the weather and tide times
- Read signs and be aware of local hazards
- Call 999 or 112 and ask for the Coastguard (112 diverts to 999 if no signal)
